Tubbercurry 10k Road Race

South Sligo Athetics club are hosting the Tubbercurry 10k this St. Patricks day. As one of the sponsors we nominated Catherine Toolan, our Tubbercurry optometrist, to take part in their 'couch to 5k' program. This will be Catherine’s first race and, no pressure but, we’re hoping for a placement.

 In all fairness to Catherine and all the other participants it’s been tough going out in the cold and the dark after a long day but there was a great group out there and it’s going to be a great event.

We wish South Sligo Athletics Club and all the participants in the St. Patricks day 10k the best of luck for the event.
